Should I eat before floating ?

Avoid heavy meals and caffeine before floating, as it may interfere with your ability to relax. A light meal or an empty stomach is suggested.

Are there any restriction on who can float ?

You should not float if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, presently ill, have kidney problems, epilepsy, or have active skin conditions, and/or other severe medical conditions.

What do I wear while floating?

The most effective floatation experience is meant to be had nude. Swimwear is acceptable but may be uncomfortable and distract from the experience.

How long do floatation sessions usually last ?

One hour or longer. The optimal float experience is between 1-3 hours, and we recommend experimenting with different durations to find one that best fits you.

Do's & Dont's

– Avoid shaving on the day of your float, as irritation of the skin may distract from achieving deep relaxation.

– If you have recently spray-tanned, wait one week until floating.

– Remove contact lenses

– It is not suggested to float during menstruation but if one must, pool protocol should be followed.

Is there an age limit to float ?

18+. If you are under 18 years old, you may float with the consent and signed waiver from a parent or legal guardian. Parents can be in the float room with their child or wait in the post-float room.

Can I float if I just dyed my hair?

While there is no guarantee that the salt won’t strip some color from your hair, we recommend that you wait a few days.

Can I float if I'm pregnant ?

Women who are pregnant should consult their physician before floating.
